Arrangement

Same seed and settings give the same song.

Variation

Re-rolls one part and keeps everything else. "New seed" re-rolls them all.

Hook sound

Shorter = tighter squelch. Written into the MIDI. Slides stay at 140 ticks so they still glide.

Cutoff and resonance set the preview sound. The CC74 automation opens and closes it on top, the same way it will in your synth.

How to use it in your DAW

    1. Unzip the download. File › Import › MIDI File… and pick the _FULL.mid.
    2. Check the tempo. Section markers come in with the file.
    3. Drums use the GM map (kick 36, snare 38, clap 39, hats 42/46, crash 49, ride 51, shaker 70), so Groove Agent SE plays them straight away.
    4. One-shot FX tracks hold one C3 note per hit. Load your riser, impact or vocal into a Sampler Track and it fires in the right place.
    5. Load one instrument per track from the sound slots, then File › Save as Template.
    6. Ableton, FL Studio, Bitwig and others work the same way: it's standard MIDI.
